Delete my account

You can request the deletion of your PyxelPlayer account and of all associated data, at any time and without giving a reason.

From the application

Go to Réglages › Compte et synchronisation › Supprimer mon compte (Settings › Account and sync › Delete my account). Deletion is immediate on our servers, and also erases this device: playlists and their credentials, profiles, favourites, progress and downloads.

Without the application

Write to contact@pyxelplayer.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account".

Writing from the account's address lets us check that it really is you: without this check, anyone could have someone else's data erased.

What is deleted

• your account and your sign-in methods;
• your profiles and the names of your playlists;
• your favourites, collections and playback progress;
• the credentials for your streaming services, stored encrypted;
• the list of your devices.

Deletion takes effect within 30 days at most, backups included.

What is not affected

• What is on your devices, for an email request — cached catalogue, downloaded files, settings — is not touched: we have no access to it. Uninstall the application to erase it. Deleting from within the application, by contrast, erases the device it is done from.
• Your subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account, and you would keep being charged. If bought on Google Play or the App Store, cancel it from your account settings in the store concerned. If bought by card on our website, write to us to cancel it.
• Your account with your streaming provider does not belong to us and remains active.
